Dreamburger; Or, To Live Dreaming is an adaptation of the Spanish Golden Age Classic Life is a Dream. Segismundo was born an orphan in an experimental, executives only location of a fast-food chain called Dreamburger, and is cursed to live and die in this restaurant, shackled to the cash register. One day, a young woman named Rosaura happens upon this location as she Razr scooters across the country, fueled by rage and seeking vengeance upon the Dreamburger executive who killed her family. Together, Rosaura and Segismundo must find a way to make their own freedom under the pressure of the American dream.
